Dear guests!

At the age of thirty, after traveling the world for twelve years as a basketball player, I decided in 1984 to settle and build a hotel at Patong Beach, Phuket Island, Thailand. The K-Hotel (K stands for my last name, Karasek) was opened in 1985 with 26 rooms and was extended to 44 rooms the following year. The facility has the intimacy of a small hotel with the size necessary for full service.

Each room has adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, room safe, hot water shower, mini bar, international direct-dialing phone, satellite TV and a balcony or veranda.

We highly recommend our new DELUXE ROOMS!! They feature super silent air-conditioning, hairdryer, in-room electronic security safety deposit boxes and Wireless ADSL Internet Service in all rooms free of charge with your own Laptop Computer!!

Patong Beach is the largest of ten beaches on Phuket Island, a mountainous, forested island  set on the west coast of Thailand and connected to the mainland by a causeway. The public beach is a mile long and is a five-minute walk from the K-Hotel. Facilities for swimming, sunbathing and sitting under shady trees or parasols are available there, as are rental water scooters and parasailing. Licensed Thai masseuses work in the shady, grassy spots at the edge of the sand. Patong is world-renowned for its exotic nightlife. Casual dress is the rule.
